‘pulke’ and ‘chili’ herb infusers by israel’s OTOTO come to the designboom shop courtesy of SOHO design shop. the name ‘pulke’ is pronounced ‘pool-kay’, which translates from yiddish to mean chicken leg. by filling the these kitchen accessories with herbs and placing them in a pot, it is easy to add different flavors to soups and stews. complex dishes can be cooked, as the piece lets the aroma of herbs and spices seep through, while remaining in the compact container. no more embarrassing incidents at dinner parties involving guests with parsley in their teeth!
