‘olympic athlete meals’ by sarah parker and micheal bodiam
both from the UK, designer sarah parker and photographer micheal bodiam have teamed up to re-interpret a series of dishes based off the diets olympian nutritionist dan benardot recommends for high-caliber athletes. the project captures an array of meals in an humorous fashion, where each serving usually exceeds 2000 calories. the scenes include 15-25 carefully organized portions ranging from chocolate milk, peanut butter, bagels, bananas and flax seeds. from a gymnast to a male triathlete, each plate depicts the typical diet each competitor
requires to perform at optimum level during the 2012 olympic summer games.
