nomad hammock is the new concept that combines two different uses — a comfortable hammock and a practical backpack — in a single product for camping. its design is inspired by the art of origami: an intuitive folding system that makes it easy to convert it from backpack to hammock and vice versa.
a practical bag designed specifically to hold the items contained in the backpack can be removed and hung on a hook provided for the purpose
3 years of research and experiments allowed the creators to produce a variety of prototypes: the result is a hammock-backpack, which is one of its kind. ‘when we first thought of the nomad hammock, we immediately imagined a product that could be used within different frameworks and situations of our daily life,’ explains the design team.
a practical backpack with a minimalistic design
you can use the hammock wherever, whether in a city park or during a weekend in contact with nature. the functional backpack with its minimalistic design can hold everything you need and can be easily transformed into a hammock.
the backpack has a capacity of about 20L
the material is soft, stretchy, and breathable and adapts to the shape of the body, ensuring full sitting or hammocking comfort
