new perspective mirrors by alain gilles for bonaldo

designer alian gilles takes a light-hearted approach in ‘new perspective’, a two-mirror collection created for italian company bonaldo. bearing the original sketch of gilles himself, the mirrors convey a stylized, cartoon-like perspective printed directly on the reflective surface.

the concept for ‘new perspective’ can be seen in its selected title. hoping to bring life and depth to an ordinarily stagnant object, the design has an innate sense of warmth and human-mark. two size options are available, with color finishes in red, blue, green, black, and copper. the smaller version comes with an anthracite strained wood shelf for utilization on the wall or as a standalone piece. ‘new perspective’ was designed by alain gilles for bonaldo.
