‘nea chair’ for freifrau by patrick freynea in wood powder – photoshooting
the nea chair by hannover-based designer patrick frey for german manufacturer freifrau can be construed by drawing reference from classic farmhouse furniture. the piece implements traditional artisanal techniques in combination with a variety of modern elements – the seat is made of a flexible, moulded wood shell that yields when it is leaned upon. as a result, ‘nea’ conveys a less rustic impression with considerably more femininity.
