tel aviv-based designer naama hofman is dedicated to changing the way we see light, continuously questioning what it should look like, and perpetually striving to find what the word ‘lamp’ can mean. her most recent exploration, comes in the form of ‘light object 012’. the small table lamp is made of 60 LEDs held within a single acrylic tube that connects to a bent iron pipe base. a modernization of the candlestick archetype, the light lets out a warm glow, further cementing the idea alongside its proportion and shape. ‘light object 012’ can be placed in a range of situations, including coffee tables, shelves, or plopped onto a bedside stand.
