considered as landscapes for living, belgian visual artists fien muller and hannes van severen of studio muller van severen have created ‘furniture project’ – which in 2013 was nominated for design of the year 2013 at the design museum on london -designs which fuse a table, a staircase, a lamp, a chair, a chaise lounge and shelves into one habitable collection. the intersection of materials such as tubular steel, leather and polyethylene. clean, minimal forms maximize usability in a modular seating configuration which is reduced to the essentials of interior furniture, a series which will be showcased during the 2013 london design festival in september at the clerkenwell design quarter.
