Made in Italy for furniture brand Miniforms, Monoplauto takes a bold departure from its predecessor, Plauto, melding its dual legs into a new, robust table design. This design evolution by Paolo Cappello and Simone Sabatti culminates with a monolithic, leaf-shaped leg that serves as a solid foundation supporting three tabletop shapes: round, oval, and organic — a new form reminiscent of fluid contours shaped by skilled artisan hands. While expressing freedom in design, these all-wood, organic forms facilitates integration into a diverse range of environments — be it a domestic setting, a convivial office space, or a distinctive contract proposal.

the monolithic form fuses with organically curved elements

Monoplauto MAXXXI features two legs instead of one and offers four different sizes with the tabletop reaching up to 6 meters. Italian brand Miniforms has transformed the refined traits of Plauto into a new narrative for office environments — more vigorous and expressive while maintaining the grace of its design line, attributed to the balanced relationship between base and top. The full wood finish enhances the bold shapes of the collection, allowing for various combinations of materials and sizes for the tabletop — whether left natural or paired with ceramics.
