russian designer max zhivov presents his new design for ‘modul GO’, a houseboat inspired by construction kits for children and IKEA’s flat-pack furniture. the yacht aims at being an inexpensive solution for mobile and easily modified life on water that adopts for customer needs.

the boat can be a standard living module with two rooms, cafe, equipment rental point, a base for hydroplanes, boat refueling module, cargo variant for transporting of goods and small passenger cars. the houseboats adopt for most of the specific requirements and are arranged on the basic platforms with size 9 m x 4,5 m and 13 m x 6,5 m.
water village
10 types of sections with the dimensions of 2,4 meters in width and 2,3 meters in height are developed for the boat. also, zhivov’s design offers one type with an increased height of 3,5 m.
modul GO for hydroplanes
‘modul GO’ houseboats are equipped with electric motors and solar panels and are fully ecological — the power of electric motors is chosen according to houseboat model and its functions. the yacht is designed in such way that can be easily transported by two tracks and quickly assembled by 4 persons in 2 days.

max zhivov is currently developing an app for modul GO that allows choosing the section types that will be installed on the platform for customer needs and seeing your future houseboat on the screen of a smartphone with all tech characteristics and calculates the price for a combination.
