mist-o juxtaposes glass elements in tequila sunrise collection

designed by mist-o, an italian/japanese studio and manufactured by ichendorf, the ‘tequila sunrise carafe collection’ is a poetic juxtaposition of glass elements. comprised of glass jugs and bottles in various sizes, each piece is made of borosilicate glass. the collection has been recently updated with three new carafe with different shapes and color combinations.

with the ‘tequila sunrise carafe collection’, mist-o designer’s duo creates a contrasting effect by juxtaposing the different glass elements. this pairing includes different colors like deep amber, smokey grey and bottle green which makes it look as if it has liquid in it already. each borosilicate glass piece is hand-blown and it is a material and immaterial alchemy, a balance of empty, full spaces and colors marked by perfect symmetry.
