participating in the maison et objet 2013 in paris for the sixth time, the taiwan pavilion presents its theme ‘fresh taiwan’. based on animal shapes the collection celebrates innovative design from homegrown brands, highlighting the country’s dedication to the creative industries. 17 brands and more than 100 design products are chosen to present taiwan’s design development showcasing its ability to keep up with high quality international standards. the taiwan furniture and home furnishings industry is a diverse and growing market with a strong economic performance through a growing number of exports.

the ‘fresh taiwan’ pavilion is located in now! design a vivre (hall 8), exhibiting 10 selected cultural and creative brands including: pegacasa, 22, ricco, liuli living, xcellent lighting, pin jang, man 2 max, tales, toast living, and acdc creative. additionally, 8 more taiwanese design brands are also featured located in now! design a vivre (hall 8), scenes d’interior (hall 7), moving (hall 6) and cooking and design (hall 3). the pieces represent the diverse range of taiwan’s growing design industry.
