the netherlands-based designer kodjo kouwenhoven of maandag meubels has developed ‘bosbank’ a simple mechanism  which transforms tree trunks into benches. with four galvanized brackets, four wooden legs and two colorful straps, any log is turned into raised seating. the set is transportable, making it a useful device to have while camping. the length of the strap allows tree trunks of various thicknesses and forms to be used, changing the look of ‘bosbank’ every time.
