louis vuitton‘s objets nomades exhibition- on show until the 4th december at design miami/ 2016– will present tokujin yoshioka‘s ‘blossom stool’ along with other furniture objects by participating designers. the overall aim of the piece was to re-interpret the philosophy of louis vuitton by creating an object which is both ‘universal and timeless’ says the artist. offered in gold metal and leather/wood, the organic shape of the seat presents a sculptural object which pays homage to the luxury aesthetic and high level of craftsmanship associated with the brand.
