‘fold’  for ceramica flaminia, design by lorenzo damiani

bent chrome pipes are usually considered as a flaw. this faucet design gives new meaning to the look of bent metal; it actually
becomes the characterizing component. the pieces is part of the ‘fold’ bathroom collection for ceramiche flaminia.

‘air pouf’ produced by campeggi, design by lorenzo damiani, 2005 next to a vacuum cleaner by achille castiglioni
image © designboom

a vacuum cleaner housed in a polyurethane pouf with a removable fabric cover.
the hoover, which can be placed wherever you wish to welcome your guests, acts as a comfortable sitting place,
as well as home appliance. the fusion between these two elements gives birth to a new typology of design items.
it appears like a sphere with three holes: the first one for the draft tube, the second one for the start button and the last one
for letting air escape; three coloured spheres close the holes when using the pouf as a sit, and fly off when you turn
on the hoover hidden inside it.
