london design festival 08: hive at designersblock

‘slash light’ by hive image © designboom

‘slash light’ is created by norwegian designer monika piatkowski and british architect mark dyson from hive. shown at designerblock each of the lamps feature images of urban settings. made from paper the lights are slashed and the images are then distorted. when the lights are illuminated a pattern is visible on the floor.
