though composed of exposed industrial steel tubing and wiring, quentin de coster‘s ‘lasso’ light suspends itself in a way that offers an elegant and adjustable illumination system. produced by CINNA – LIGNE ROSET, the design is defined by a torch-like shaped luminaire that hangs from what would typically be considered an unattractive electrical cable. however, ‘lasso’ has been conceived to direct luminosity with a sliding motion that sees the lamp move up-and-down the length of its cord, thus creating graphic elements that draw changing lines in space; with its functionality evidenced through its ability to adopt a number of triangulations according to your requirements.
