Founded in Porto in 2003, Laskasas strives to craft items that are truly exclusively yours. The furniture brand’s designs are fully customizable in materials, finishes and, even, sizes to allow interior designers and other clients to curate the perfect aesthetic to suit residential and commercial projects. At the same time, each product is handcrafted – a testament to Portuguese craftsmanship. In April 2022, Laskasas debuts a new collection, called Not Another Edition, that further emphasizes its unique offering.

Said to be the Portuguese furniture brand’s most wanderlust-inspiring collection to date, Laskasas Not Another Edition embraces all seven continents of the globe. Each piece is named after and represents a celebrated region of the world, from Cairo to Montreal and Munique to Malé. This symbolizes how the designs are set to be welcomed into homes in many locations. A catalog of lookbooks are also named after some of the most remarkable landmarks found in these regions, ranging from temples to historical buildings.

Nijo Dining Room

The collection debuts entirely new series of furniture, upholstery and lighting pieces, all styled in a contemporary fashion. These range from individual armchairs to modular soft seats and slim, tall cabinets to elegant, illuminating table lights. As shown in the lookbooks, the modern yet artisanal designs appear and feel right at home in both residential and commercial projects.

Kahneri Bedroom & Home Office

Every Laskasas collection merges Portuguese heritage of craftsmanship with new perspectives. Clients are able to tailor designs with a curation of over 50 different materials, fabrics and finishes. The lookbooks exemplify interior settings: Kabaka bestows prestige upon the pieces crafted from a mix of marble, high-quality fabrics, textured stainless steel and lacquered wood; a pairing of eucalyptus and gilded polished steel brings a relaxed, calm expression to furniture in Sinamale; and Kondiaronk displays a subtle luxury as light fabrics contrast with dark lacquered structures for tables, chairs and more, for example.
