kresta design introduces bold shapes and lively hues in outdoor furniture collection

bubbly and energetic pieces make up spanish firm kresta design’s new furniture collection. a branch of studio lucas y hernandez-gil, the design firm launched two furniture collections named ‘genuine’ and ‘agustine’ to match the objects’ strong personalities. the pieces are compact and light, ideal to adorn any indoor or outdoor space.

kresta design’s colorful and playful approach permeates through the furniture pieces. the studio began with primitive shapes and created furniture that is stripped down to its bare structure. they added bold primary colors such as bright red and ocean blue to complement the basic geometries, offering a lively touch to any space. there is also a pale pink, that brings a softness to the small side table. the jade green hue covers the entire perforated bench, which glides on a set of bright, accent red wheels. 

the pieces boast a smooth metal finish that is in some cases complemented with light wood. others even stand on bright, red wheels to make them highly functional and portable. the perforated metal surfaces on some of the benches and tables bring a lightness to them and introduce a new texture to the shiny painted metal. sweeping curves and lively colors characterize both collections, matching kresta design’s playful personality.
