duffy london brings the playground into the boardroom with the ‘king arthur, round swing table’, a circular unit which allows users to hover above the floor while seated. building upon george bernard shaw’s famous saying ‘we don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing‘, the design brings whimsy and fun to otherwise static meetings and dinners.

aesthetically, the duffy london design is motivated by king arthur’s famed round table from the arthurian legend, around which he and his knights would congregate. a geo lampshade is built overhead, and hanging chairs are suspended from a frame that follows the circumference of the table top. available in walnut or birch wood for the surface, and powder coated mild steel for the suspended seats, the seater can be customized in a variety of bespoke finishes.
