‘it’s not only the glitter and glamour you seen in the magazines; research has shown that an increasing group of tables and chairs suffer from identity crises, and don’t even get me started on the lamps.’ says mr. haasnoot, the fictional lead of interior studio and atelier just haasnoot. to accompany the creation of the studio, designers thalia de jong and michael kluver created a tragic-comedy promotional about pieces of designer furniture that just haven’t found their place in the world. shot moc-umentary style, mr. haasnoot guides the poor furnishings through the hardest question in their lives, ‘where do I belong?’ the commercial, like the studio, isn’t afraid to go against the grain, after all, they’re just trying to help
