korean design junggi sung has designed two products – ‘think earth’ and ‘drink tap water’ – which make us consider our impact on the environment.
‘drink tap water’
‘drink tap water’ is a bio disposable plastic refillable water bottle with a lid shaped like a faucet handle. the motion of opening the water bottle is like that of turning on a tap, making us reconsider drinking from the tap rather than buying bottled water.

‘think earth’
usually trash bins are designed for easy disposal. ‘think earth’ makes it harder to throw out garbage. it has a net that looks like an earth icon making it difficult to easily toss things out without having to place items through the openings. makes you think twice about what really is waste.
