founded in 1912, JUNG is a premium provider of building technology who innovated the revolution from rotary light switches to toggles at the end of the 1910s. the modernization was not only easier to operate but, for the first time, added an aesthetic element as well as function to the furnishings. paying homage to their past, the brand has released the appealing, modular ‘LS 1912’ range. the design unites their traditional switch technology with contemporary possibilities.

following traditions from its past, JUNG’s new switch range encompasses a purist design. the ‘LS 1920’ has been created so that the cover finishes flush with the frame; screws are not visible on the exterior while the toggle is the only element to stand out. this is available in either a cylindrical, conical or cuboid form.

this contemporary interpretation of their famed design ensures, once again, new and better standards are delivered. the base material is chrome-plated brass and can only be fabricated in a cuboid form in this finish. brass, stainless steel and dark, however, can be chosen as conical or cylindrical shapes. every brass switch is unique; the surface is hand-polished and then finished with a special protective varnish. the stainless steel option is bead-blastered, aluminum is applied with a matte finished, and the dark choice is achieved after aluminum is treated with a brown varnish.

the JUNG ‘LS 1912’ design provides a contemporary solution for residential and commercial buildings. its many shaped toggles can be used in all frames from the brand’s LS series, as well as all standard flush-mounted units. furthermore, over 200 inserts can be added to the product, including power sockets, multi-function connections and international systems.
