spanish designer josean vilar was commissioned to create ‘light birds’, a permanent installation for the hotel neptuno in valencia, spain.

the three dimensional matrix of suspended elements swing from the ceiling and reflect light, projecting shadows. vilar aimed to create a visual effect which provides a new experience leading up to the hotel’s patio.
