the ‘numerouno LED’ conceived by berlin-based designer johannes kiessler is a suspended light piece made from corrugated cardboard. the energy efficient product can be hung at varying heights from the ceiling, using wire, plastic and nylon thread. the project wanted to revisit the tradition of berlin’s industrial past, and the lamp is manufactured and assembled in the central district of charlottenburg. the ‘numerouno’ is available in four different colors, blue, red, mint and grey and uses just a 9W LED for illumination.
