gothenburg-based designer johan forsberg of studio forsberg has released a series of grandfather and table clocks constructed using an assemblage of materials including concrete. there are three table versions made from different structures that are scaled copies of the grandfather clock ‘urbild’, originally designed in 1999 and produced as a limited edition. the white table clock is made of marble, the anthracite version incorporates diabase and the gray one sand – taken directly from the seabed between sweden and denmark. the ‘tidvis wall’ features black pigmented ash with its face also cast in diabase with a combination of black pigments.
