makeon facial boosting spa for amorepacific
the makeon facial boosting spa is a steamer designed by jiyoun kim studio, for korean beauty brand amorepacific. used to hydrate the face on a daily basis, the makeon is shaped for intuitive and easy use, with a minimal design that fits unintrusively among any vanity or cosmetic set.

a visually light design, defined by a matte finish + eays controls
specifically, designers jiyoun kim and jaehyuk lim successfully eliminated any visual bulkiness by coating the amorepacific device with a white matte finish. they also refrained from using overly complicated hinges to help users quickly control the steam angle with two pins on the top side. the makeon was recently launched in korea, in the fall of 2021.
