french architect jean nouvel has designed ‘vienna’ for austrian furniture manufacturer wittmann. the series of furniture modules can be arranged in different ways to form a chaise lounge or sofas of varying lengths. about the monolithic pieces jean nouvel states, ‘…I always point out that I am not a normal designer, although I rather prefer furniture.’ his wittman collection complies with this unpretentious approach.

each piece of wittmann furniture is hand-made by appointment in the wittmann workshops. as with all wittmann furniture, ‘vienna’ is available in all qualities of leather and fabrics as well as coverings supplied by the customer.
