the ‘wire’ by james burgess design for danish company bolia is defined by a seamless flow of the thin material throughout the chair’s entire construction. this formation of a continuous path maximizes its fluid properties, while still maintaining structural stability. the minimal piece is characterized by straight lines and soft radial curves, with crossbars added for comfort, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. the wire is manufactured in a powder coated steel and the chair itself is produced in a range of five colors – coral, black, white blue/grey and grey with the ability to be complimented with soft seat pads.
