jacquemus installs all-white 24-hour vending machine in milan

FOLLOWING PARIS, JACQUEMUS BRINGS ITS 24/24 CONCEPT TO MILAN

on the occasion of milan fashion week fall 2022, jacquemus installed its already successful 24/24 retail concept in the italian city. set within the cloister of palazzo clerici, the pop-up proposed a store open 24 hours that works just like a vending machine.

‘it’s not just about buying: it’s also an experience, a concept,’ jacquemus commented on their instagram stories. ‘the idea is to break the frontiers in the world of luxury. we want you to come in, feel welcome and have a great experience no matter what you do inside, you can even just pass by and take a picture. this is jacquemus.’

AN ALL-WHITE MONOCHROME ENVIRONMENT

in december last year, the french brand celebrated the release of its latest accessory, the bambino long bag, with the opening of a pop-up store in paris. the ultra-saturated neon pink temporary structure took cues from vending machines, allowing users to get the brand’s latest products by selecting a window, paying with their paying card, and getting a code to open the window with the desired product.

the experimental project proved to be a success and has been replicated in milan, this time with a more minimal approach — an all-white monochrome environment. the recently unveiled purse, la vague, was the protagonist of the milan iteration, with its curvy, warped silhouette with scrunched handle. the bambino bag, as well as the sweatshirt brodé hoodie were also available.
