The scholarship contest by Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Design challenges young talents to create engaging digital content that envisions the future of life enhanced by digital technology. Participants are granted creative freedom, and are allowed to use any media to create their projects, including photos, videos, or a combination of both, and should reflect the candidate’s unique perspective on the potential of technology in design. Alternatively, they can select an existing project and analyze it in alignment with the competition’s guidelines. The young designers have until November 26, 2023, to apply for the Foundation’s Three-year, Intensive, and Master Programmes starting in January 2024.

Alongside their digital content, applicants must provide a concise written explanation of their vision and concept. Submissions should furthermore illustrate how the technology under consideration can improve and redefine the way we interact with spaces, objects or even each other highlight the user experience and how AR can make life more comfortable, efficient or enjoyable.

up to 15,000€ for three-year undergraduate programmes

The lucky selected proposals receive a deduction on the tuition fee (enrolment fee is still due) for the chosen programme at the School, starting in January 2024, as such: up to 15,000€ (5,000€ per year) for three-year undergraduate programmes; and up to 10,000€ for One-Year and Master’s programmes. The deduction can be applied to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes at Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Design and it is not transferable to subsequent intakes.
