ISSEY MIYAKE unveils ‘Spiral Grid’, a series of adjustable bags, which can grow in size to suit different outfits. As part of its new collection for autumn winter 2022/23, the brand’s latest wearable innovation sees a grid portion, flexible enough to be modeled into unique pieces that can accompany various occasions and moods. By rotating the body of the compact handbag, similar to a spiral, it can unfold into a mesh-like design and stretch into a tote bag. Along with the bag’s size, the handles of different lengths can also be adjusted to give the wearer even more fashionable options, like transforming the tiny purse into a cross-body bag.
