the ‘kalika’ table lamp by iosa ghini for glass manufacturer venini, takes it name from the hindi name meaning ‘bud’. the design which was presented at milan design week 2016, draws upon shapes found within nature, featuring a flowing bell top shade and elegant rippled texture. the lampshade is made of blown murano glass in colored crystal and hides a hi-tech light source with LED strip of 15 watts. the base and the central stem of the of ‘kalika’ are available in two versions: one in metal; and the second in a cone-shaped dark glass.
