industrial facility utilised herman miller’s extensive knowledge of ergonomics, anthropometrics and comfort, to create a system which would support home, office, education and healthcare establishments. each element can be used alone or combined in a myriad of ways to create settings ranging from a haven for quiet contemplation; a small social grouping; or a team space. it is equally effective in academic surroundings like student unions, libraries, and workshops.

the versatile nature of the collection makes working at a laptop convenient, including power ports at the base of the ‘plex’ units and surface areas to rest accessories. the flexible nature of the design extends through to the changeable settings, as well as the color and textiles palette, which can be mixed between seat and back to create a two-tone effect, or matched to create a monochromatic look.
