illuministi emphasizes flexibility with swiveling gru lamp

outlined by simple, sharp lines, the ‘gru’ table lamp by italian company illuministi emphasizes its integrated flat design elements. the minimal piece is made using vetronite, a product rarely used in lighting fixtures – the structure features a swivel using the unique material, which acts as a conductor to turn on the LED lights set in the upper part of the lamp. the durability and ductility of vetronite allows the piece to be extremely flexible, so the ‘gru’ can be adjusted at various angles and bent into a shape measuring just a few centimeters in height.
