Highsnobiety’s Classics Reinvented at milan design week 2025

Highsnobiety brings back the exhibition series Not In Milan with Classics Reinvented during Milan Design Week 2025. Running between April 7th and 11th at MAGMA Eventi Milano on Via Vezza d’Oglio 14, the cultural brand transforms the traditional design week model into an open cultural experience through activations, product collaborations, and conversations. Here, designboom presents THE TABLE LAMP | 4 WAYS, a special showcase to demonstrate the table lamp as a design icon. It features historical reissues, reinvented classics, and contemporary approaches to table lamps, with four design takes by Milanese and international designers.

Highsnobiety’s Milan Design Week series explores three core pillars. It honors the craftsmanship and stories behind timeless objects. The collection also dives deep into the technical mastery that shapes cultural icons. Then, the series aims to rework design classics using interactive and educational activations and talks. All of these take place at MAGMA Eventi Milano, which is a 560 sqm warehouse and art gallery space near the iconic Fondazione Prada.

Highsnobiety’s Not In Milan: Classics Reinvented (RSVP here) series at Milan Design Week 2025 features products presented as cultural artifacts. Produced by Fasten Seat Belt, the warehouse-turned-art space evidently highlights collaborations, limited-edition pieces, and reimagined classics from NM3, Parasite 2.0, CARA \ DAVIDE, and more. Not in Milan: Classics Reinvented opens to the public on April 8th, 2025, running daily from 11 AM to 6 PM.

The cultural brand kicks off the event on April 7th with the Slam Jam x Public Possession Opening Party, featuring music from Sedef Adasi and Public Possession DJs. On April 8th, Levi’s® Roundtable Talks takes place from 1 to 4 PM. Presently, it brings together creative minds to discuss how to keep classic design fresh. Then later that evening, from 5 to 8 PM, the world premiere of the smart #5 BRABUS offers an exclusive first look at the latest model. Meanwhile, on April 9th, L’Artisan Parfumeur: Art of Play occurs from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. It is an immersive pétanque experience celebrating the brand’s signature scents. Then that evening, from 7 to 10 PM, UGG Presents: Terra Incognita with Reese Cooper, an exploration of fashion and design inspired by the SS25 collaboration.

On April 10th, Levi’s® Listening Session runs from 7 to 10 PM. It features live performances from Oopart Collective, including Yoniro, Salvatore Versace, and Imer6ia. Later that night, from 10 PM to 4 AM, HS Soundsystem CamperLab Underground takes over Milan’s renowned Plastic club for a high-energy closing celebration.

The event concludes on April 11 with FILA x HS Presents: A Toast to Disruption from 7 to 10 PM. This immersive exhibition blends tennis, design, and culture, featuring archival pieces, groundbreaking designs, music, and drinks. Alongside the programs, several collaborations take place at Highsnobiety’s series during Milan Design Week 2025.

So far, the Highsnobiety In-Line Collection for Not in Milan 2025 features apparel and accessories inspired by Milan’s distinct design language. Bar Basso x Highsnobiety pays tribute to Milan’s legendary aperitivo culture. It comes in the form of a capsule collection influenced by decades of design, tradition, and the classic Negroni Sbagliato. Then, the Attico x Highsnobiety presents a collection that serves as a subtle homage to Milan. Blending archival imagery, muted tones, and intricate design details, the pieces reflect the city’s layered identity.

With FILA, Highsnobiety reinterprets archival designs by merging classic sportswear aesthetics with contemporary forms. On the other hand, Slam Jam x Public Possession offers a dynamic mix of streetwear and music culture. It celebrates Milan’s creative intersections through exclusive pieces and a striking four-meter installation. All items are available onsite and globally through Highsnobiety’s iOS app or website. Highsnobiety’s Classics Reinvented exhibition during Milan Design Week 2025 is open to the public from April 8th to 11th.
