Curated by the gallery and Mesura, the collection reflects her artistic journey exploring construction waste, while embracing her fondness for playing with material qualities and colors. The resulting ensemble features a spectrum of pastel tones intricately fused together, each piece harmonizing with the others to form a unified sculptural narrative.

‘Mezcla, Moldea, Lija, Mueve’ is a process of trial & error

Sara Regal is a designer renowned for her focus on material investigation and sustainable practices. Her work showcases her commitment to creating recycled pieces from waste materials. Inspired by her earlier collaboration on the Split Table at Vasto a year ago, this exhibition marks a continuation of Regal’s exploration into sustainable practices. Mezcla, Moldea, Lija, Mueve is an exploratory journey, born from trial and error, emphasizing the significance of process and experimentation. While each creation adheres to specific methods, they maintain individuality, inviting viewers to appreciate their unique imperfections, a nod to the humans in their making.

Regal’s approach in Split Table involved working within tight time constraints and using unconventional synthetic materials. In her latest exhibition, she expands upon the lessons learned from that project, taking a proactive role in the process. Here, she focuses on specific construction waste and natural materials, aligning with her dedication to sustainable practices.
