‘grupo metafisico’ by pablo alabau at new york design week 2014

at new york design week 2014, pablo alabau debuted a series of seven furniture pieces entitled ‘grupo metafisico’. the metaphysical objects are derived from a module of 9 x 9 x 16 inches, with the subsequent rearrangement of the resulting parts giving shape to a family of stools, side tables and multipurpose pieces. each design is made from white stained birch plywood and 6B graphite.
