gridesign studio's new table mirror stands on a weaved bamboo bin

putting in contrast tradition and modernity, taiwanese gridesign studio has created a simple object that combines two functions – a mirror whose stand is replaced by a little bamboo bin. balancing the industrial style of the reflecting surface, the weaving brings a human touch into the piece.

gridesign studio is based in taipei city and specializes in product design. most of the products the team offers are made of bamboo using different traditional and new techniques.
