social mail stamps by gary hunt
this set of illustrated postage stamps by gary hunt encourage you to draw the rest of the character onto the envelope. the project was selected as a winning entry for the RSA student design awards ‘postage stamps’ brief in conjunction with royal mail (UK).
‘my stamps are a series of simplified and stylised heads that enable the user to draw their own unique characters directly onto the envelope. the brief was entitled ‘social mail’, and I believed through an injection of humour and interactivity that my stamps would allow people to share a joke, start a conversation and most importantly – have fun!’ – gary hunt
