in his second collection for BD barcelona design, spanish designer jaime hayon integrates a dose of romanticism and versatility for home and contract use with an indoor iteration of ‘gardenias’. the seating series is divided into an outdoor version, which was conceived to rejuvenate the classic elegance in garden furniture for contemporary production; and the interior design which is introduced as part of salone del mobile 2014.

the new armchair and sofa references hayon’s trademark identity: stylized forms, brilliant finishes and eye-catching comfort become the focus of the furniture collection. the upholstery incorporates the use of fine velvet fabrics – blue royale, red ming, green versailles and black edo, and are also available with BD’s current line materials and leathers.
