During Milan Design Week 2024, Florim debuted the Mystic Luxe collection, a collaboration with Studio Matteo Nunziati to create environments conducive to well-being. This series of large porcelain stoneware surfaces integrates chromium-plated metals and agates – a natural stone rooted in historical significance across cultures. From its respected role in ancient Greece and Egypt to its revered association with longevity and health in Chinese traditional medicine, agate embodies qualities of strength, balance, and elegance.

As part of the CarbonZero project, the Mystic Luxe collection reaffirms Florim’s dedication to sustainable design, presenting carbon-neutral surfaces that echo the brand‘s dedication to enhancing both environmental and societal value. The Mystic Luxe collection offers a diverse selection of surfaces, including agates in seven color shades – Indigo, Claret, Juniper, Viridian, Black Sea, Gloom and Umber – that come in three finish variants: glossy with gold inserts, glossy without gold inserts, and satin with gold inserts.

To enhance the charm of the gemstone, the series incorporates four additional metals, bringing dynamic light interactions to interiors while the agate’s natural gems with voluptuous shapes add a touch of glamor and vibrant colors. Both surfaces are available in various sizes and with a thickness of 6 mm, ensuring flexibility in design applications, whether for large-scale installations or more intricate projects.

For those seeking a more embellished look, the same metal shades are offered in decorated versions – Gold Arabescato, Rosegold Glyph, Titanium Rain, and Carbon Warren.
