the ‘wald hi•lo’ is the second iteration of the wald lamp by LA-based studio feltmark. the light is similar to its predecessor — see designboom’s coverage here — but has several changes worth mentioning. the ‘wald hi•lo’ weighs in at only 6.87 ounces, and is aptly named for its full-range dimming capability. the compact unit boasts a few aesthetic differences from the original, most obviously the appearance of a sleek, aluminum cylinder rather than milled hardwood.

‘wald hi•lo’ extends 4” from the wall, is 34” long, and comes equipped with an adjustable three prong plug for various outlets. like its precursor, the light is hand-made in feltmark’s studio, and available in olive drab, dark plum, or neutral finishes.
