Fanfan is a contemporary dressing table standing on two feet.

violane d’harcourt has reframed and recontextualized the dressing table with ‘fanfan.’ a composition of beech, laquered steel and variously sized mirrors, the dresser is optimal for a variety of standing and sitting positions. a central ball joint and wall-dependent installation allow the furniture to fit a variety of spaces while remaining directionally adaptable. the reliance of the dressing table on existing architecture is part of an overall vision of flexibility between user and object. a large mirror is adapted for usage in standing positions, while a smaller one, informed by the scale of a rearview mirror, is optimal for seated positions.
