the lounge and bookshop areas of bologna’s new fabrica storeafter seven years of being located on via rizzoli, the bologna fabrica features shop has moved to another historical part of city’s centre at strada maggiore. designed by fabrica’s young designers, valentina carretta and sam baron, the atmosphere is low-tech and uses elements which are typically associated with the construction industry: wooden boxes, concrete quarterdecks, pallets and electrical devices, alongside other furnishings. the walls are decorated with hand-drawn graphics by marta teixeira.
