australian and ukranian graphic designers samantha ziino and anna kulachek have developed ‘the fabricanti handbook’, an informational guide for the new residents arriving at fabrica’s communications research centre in treviso, italy. from text to photography to illustration, it draws on stories from previous and current fabricanti alumni, sharing their knowledge of local tricks and advice. through visuals and storytelling, the book describes the year-long programme with a background of the people, places, processes, projects, and all the basics of how to live locally – from ordering pasta, to visiting the biennale in venice.
