‘LA chair’ for point

london-based studio el ultimo grito (rosario hurtado and robert feo) has designed ‘LA collection’  for spanish outdoor furniture company point. on show at milan design week 2011, the modular outdoor pieces consist of a chair and sundbed designed as an interchangeable system. the design principle behind the collection is the deconstruction of its elements, in which the duo has created a series of lightweight surface structures and weatherproof cushioned modules which facilitate both large and small scale assemblies. front view demonstration of the ‘LA chair’s’ modularity
