combining the properties of water and heat, effe perfect wellness highlights many new products and systems in 2019. previewed at ICFF new york and milan design week 2018, the ‘YOKU’ sauna is a modular design created by marco williams fagioli. its name derives from a branch of japanese medicine that encompasses the beneficial effects of contact with plants and the forest atmosphere. taking this influence further, the design is natural and organic in its aesthetics, too. its heater is integrated into the lower bench of the system in order to not detract from the minimalist appearance within.
the marble-effect ceramic covered hammam, which features the NUVOLA SMART POWER stream generator
a hammam features the new, advanced ‘NUVOLA SMART POWER’ stream generator, which enables users to create their perfect wellness facility. this is by more than just emitting steam diffusion; it uses a ventilation system to avoid temperature layering, can be controlled remotely by smart devices, and guarantees optimum performance through an automatic boiler rinsing system that restricts the build-up of limescale. all these features are integrated into a concealed compartment that blends with the marble-effect ceramic interior covering. housed within an 8 mm toughened glass doors and panelled cubicle from the ‘TUTTOVETRO INSIDE’ collection, the architecture fits flush to create a perfect seal against escaping steam and ensure correct air re-circulation.

effe perfect wellness showcases the ‘WATERDREAM’ mini pool designed by giovanna talocci and marco pallocca. as a place to relax and enjoy, the design benefits from different soothing, toning whirlpool modes. to do so, an exclusive source function moves the water in a circular motion thanks to an air source on the bottom of the bath. this, along with a special lighting system, creates a very natural, calming environment.

reviving the ancient tradition of a refreshing bucket of water after a sauna, ‘FEELGOOD’ offers a complete shower, steam and light system. from an elegant design that lies flush with the ceiling, three different flows of water – rain, waterfall and mist – can be selected by the user. whilst enjoying the cooling shower, beneficial effects of color therapy are also offered, which can be adjusted using a high-tech touchscreen control panel.
