a fashion design student at the shenkar college of engineering and design in israel has developed a fashion design phenomenon that’ll make you do a double take. dolev elron has put a twist on classic denims with his pair of optically-warped jeans, whose rear is twisted and turned in a distorted whirl. elron has reshaped the straight seams and standard proportions of pockets to create a novel wearable with a deceptive design.

as a student at the shenkar college of engineering and design, elron collaborated with diesel israel on the creation of the warped denim jeans, as well as an equally optically-distorted jacket. the project puts an original spin on a staple of casualwear with a subtle, simple twist that not only catches the eye, but plays on a trick on it…
