the docomo / nec N-04A cell phone designed by japanese home appliance company, amadana, is set to be released early next year. the phone opens in an ‘arc slide’ which is a trademark of the NEC corporation. it also has a 3.0 inch wide VGA LCD touch screen which can operate even when the phone is slid into closed position. tycoon graphics has provided built-in graphic design, while japanese musicians haruomi hosono, yukihiro takahashi, and ryuichi sakamoto provide musical content. dimensionally, the N-04A is 103mm long, 49mm wide, 12.9mm thick and weighs just 120g.
