firstly presented at the designboom mart new york 2010 held at the ICFF,the cat cabins designed by loyal luxe, made entirely of corrugated cardboard and sold flat, distinguishes itself through its humorous theme, translated from the canadian style hunting chalets and their associated symbolism.
since the love for paper and cardboard is innate in cats, your pet will surely adopt their new cabin and will soon call it, ‘home sweet home’!
in addition to cats, this chalet is also perfect for all kinds of small furry friends like rabbits, ferrets, and small dogs.
the chalet is made and sold as one flat, foldable piece of cardboard. it has to be assembled, but requires no glue or tools. the architecture of the product was done to ensure that it is structurally sound. once it is assembled, the roof can support a spread weight of 30 pounds. it can be personalized and decorated – collage, poster paint, felt, adhesives, …

loyal luxe was founded in 2008 by maud beauchamp and marie-pier guilmain, the two industrial designers graduated from the university of montreal. their products have that little something that makes you want to display them with pride in the living room; a humorous approach that will sure catch everybody’s attention!
